Who we are

Zetta Decorate is run by ZettaByte Inc. (zettabyteincorp.com). For anything about your information, write to joy@zettabyteincorp.com. That address reaches the person responsible for privacy here.

What we collect

• When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo, as Google shares them with us. We never see your Google password.
• When you make a picture while signed in: the room, style and size you picked, and the picture that comes back, saved under your email so you can find it in My images.
• When you use the site without signing in: nothing is saved. To keep the free daily pictures fair, we count how many a given IP address made today. That count lives only in the server's memory and is gone when the day ends or the server restarts.
• Like any website: our web server keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, the page asked for and the time) to keep the service secure and working.

Why we collect it

• To let invited people sign in and to show who is signed in.
• To make the pictures you ask for and keep them for you to view, download and delete.
• To limit how many pictures can be made, so the service stays available to everyone.
• To find and fix problems and to protect the service from abuse.

We only use your information for these purposes. We do not use it for advertising.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

To make a picture, the room, style and size you picked are sent to our design engine and its infrastructure providers, who process them for us and send back the picture. Google handles sign-in under its own privacy policy. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Pictures you make, and the room picks saved with them, are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.
• You can delete any picture sooner in My images. It is removed straight away.
• Your sign-in lasts as long as your session cookie. Signing out ends it.
• The guest counter is never written to disk and resets every day.

Cookies and local storage

We use one cookie: the sign-in session cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is only set when you sign in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics.

If you turn on interface sounds, that choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

How we protect it

The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Pictures can only be seen by the account that made them. Access to the server is limited to the people who run the service.

Your rights

• See what we hold: My images shows every picture saved for you. For anything else, email joy@zettabyteincorp.com.
• Delete it: delete pictures in My images, or email joy@zettabyteincorp.com and we will delete everything we hold about you.
• Correct it or withdraw consent: email joy@zettabyteincorp.com. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer offer you a signed-in account.
• Complain: if you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

We answer requests within 30 days.

Children

Zetta Decorate is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users before it takes effect.
